Searching threads max count: Set the maximum threads count when searching files. When FileCake searchs files, if different physical disks or computers (search the local area network) are detected, FileCake will use multiple threads to search all disks or computers simultaneously. This feature will speed up the search process prominently. You can set the maximum threads count here.

Stable Mode file list: Use Stable Mode instead of the normal mode in the search result file list.
The difference between Stable mode and Normal mode:
In stable mode, each item in the file list has a prefixed check box so you can select the item by clicking the check box. So the selections will be kept until you clear the check box explicitly. In this mode, only files which check boxes have been checked can be performed the various actions such like delete, drag and drop, wipe, copy, move, etc. The highlight item will not become selected until the check box is selected.

In normal mode, you have to select each items by highlight them. When you click any other place inadvertently, the selections will be lost.

If you are dealing with large number of files, Stable mode can help
you to prevent losing selections accidentally.

Confirmations:
Confirm when close search result tab: If it's selected, a confirmation dialog box will be displayed when you close any search result tab. This is useful to prevent you close the search result by eventuality.

Confirm when delete from file list: If it's selected, when you delete items from the file list, a confirmation dialog box will be displayed.

Strict confirmation when wiping files: If it's selected, when you select wiping pattern, you must input four confirmation characters to confirm the wiping. It's strongly recommended that you always keep this option selected.

The left list box lists all the file types that can be quick viewed. If you don't want a type to be quick viewed, clear the box near the selected type.

File extensions: Modify the file type extensions here.

Move Up and Move Down: Move the selected type up or down. The upmost type will be first checked when viewing a file.
